Broc's Story

Finding The right equation

Meet Megan. She is a wife, mother and nurse. Now meet her son, Broc. He is an active big brother who loves to be outside, play in the dirt, and help his Dad check and feed the cows. Megan was juggling the adventures of having two kids, working as a nurse and helping her husband on their farm, when craziness happened.

Two years ago right before Broc was to enter kindergarten, he began to complain of lower right quadrant pain and was running a fever. As a nurse, her first and only thought was possibly an appendicitis. After a CT scan, at the age of five, he was diagnosed with an intusseption in his bowel (the bowel telescopes up into itself).

As a result, Broc had to be rushed by ambulance to Children’s Hospital, where he would spend four days. He luckily was able to avoid surgery. The cause of the bowel obstruction was constipation and a virus.

The pediatrician said this was rare and often occurred in infants. They were sent home being told that to avoid hospitalization and/or surgery, Broc would have to remain regular, and avoid constipation…….but here is the problem…….Megan had to come up with an equation that would keep her son regular, which is no easy feat for an active, never have time to stop child.

She used every over the counter remedy that was available. Nothing was working and the fear of what could happen heightened. The toughest part of being a parent is seeing our children in pain and Megan knew that if she didn’t find Broc relief, they would be back in the hospital. With each complaint of belly pain, came worries.

Broc started drinking Trüronia after a suggestion from Megan’s mom Janene.

“This Truronia juice has made a huge impact on Broc, which is such a relief. It is a “natural” miracle and since he started it daily, we haven’t looked back!” Truronia on a regular basis has ensured Broc will be regular!

Broc is an active boy who loves school, PE, and reading. He likes to eat, and in fact he eats a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. His favorite veggies are brussel sprouts and sweet corn. His favorite sports are flag football and wrestling.

Megan and her family are firm believers in Truronia. They live and farm in Anselmo, Nebraska.
